Together with experts from CrateDB and AWS, you’ll build a fully managed, event-driven analytics pipeline on AWS from ingestion to visualization using cloud-native services that are easy to set up and scale.

You’ll learn how to ingest high-velocity event streams with Amazon MSK, process events in real time using AWS Lambda, store and analyze data with CrateDB Cloud, and visualize insights instantly in Grafana. Karyn Azevedo is a Solution Engineer at CrateDB. She is passionate about supporting clients to achieve their best results with CrateDB while producing content for our growing community of users. She studied Computer Science at the University of São Paulo and holds a master's degree in the same field focusing on data mining and data processing from the University of Porto.

Daryl Dudey Senior Solution Engineer, CrateDB

Daryl is a Senior Solutions Engineer at CrateDB with extensive experience designing and delivering real-time, large-scale data systems. He specialises in translating complex customer requirements into clear, pragmatic architectures, balancing performance, scalability, and operational simplicity. He works closely with customers from early discovery through to deployment and go-live, drawing on a strong background in distributed databases, streaming pipelines, and analytics workloads. His focus is on realistic deployment strategies that avoid over-engineering while ensuring systems perform reliably in production. Known for a hands-on, technically rigorous approach, he bridges the gap between business goals and engineering reality, helping customers adopt CrateDB with confidence.
