Christian Kurze currently serves as the VP of Product at CrateDB, where he steers its vision and strategy. Prior to his role at CrateDB, Christian contributed to MongoDB and Denodo by shaping their go-to-market strategies in Central and Eastern Europe, leveraging his previous experience in consulting and startups. With over 15 years of professional experience, he has cultivated an in-depth understanding of data ecosystems. His expertise spans from databases, data integration, analytics, and reporting to software development and automation. Christian holds a Ph.D. in Active Metadata Management for Data Warehouse Systems.
Stefan Stricker is a theoretical physicist who, after conducting research on black holes and string theory, has spent the last ten years implementing data science use cases for industrial companies. He has worked for the major tech company IBM, as well as for smaller industrial firms, with a focus on bringing AI use cases to production. Currently, he is responsible for Artificial Intelligence Competencies at TGW, one of the leading providers of intralogistics solutions. He is also the founder of the network Industrial Data Science Austria.
Georg Binder is a Sr. Partner Solution Architect at Microsoft, based in Austria. With over 20 years of experience in the tech industry and as a former “technical evangelist” he has a deep passion for empowering customers and partners to leverage technology. Georg is an engaging speaker with a proven track record at many events, delivering valuable insights and communicating complex ideas clearly. His presentations never lack uniqueness nor a bit of edutainment. He holds a master’s degree in information sciences ( University of Vienna), plays Minecraft with his kids and teaches “Business Data Analytics” at the university in Krems.
