CrateDB European City Tour Coming to Vienna
In a fun and interactive way and through several hands-on technical activities, we will explore together how to analyze time-series data in CrateDB and build a chatbot on enterprise data. We will also see how to use an AutoML approach to predict future sales.
CrateDB is an open source, multi-model and distributed database that offers high performance, scalability and flexibility, all with SQL. Our VP Product and Lead Solution Engineer will animate this session. In small groups, we will analyze the problem together and adopt a step by step approach to solve it. Our speakers
Christian Kurze currently serves as the VP of Product at CrateDB, where he steers its vision and strategy. Prior to his role at CrateDB, Christian contributed to MongoDB and Denodo by shaping their go-to-market strategies in Central and Eastern Europe, leveraging his previous experience in consulting and startups. With over 15 years of professional experience, he has cultivated an in-depth understanding of data ecosystems. His expertise spans from databases, data integration, analytics, and reporting to software development and automation. Christian holds a Ph.D. in Active Metadata Management for Data Warehouse Systems.
Niklas is CrateDB's Lead Solution Engineer. With his team, he helps customers implement CrateDB in their environments and make the best use of its features. Niklas gained experience in the database space by delivering various data warehousing and data integration projects. He holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Passau.
