Bring your laptop and your curiosity! No software installation is required as all labs run in the cloud. Basic SQL knowledge is recommended but not essential.

Simon Prickett Lead Solution Engineer, CrateDB

Simon Prickett is the Senior Product Evangelist at CrateDB. An experienced developer relations professional, Simon has enjoyed a career spanning more than 25 years as a technical storyteller, software architect, product manager and software engineer. Simon leads the development of online courses for the CrateDB Academy and is a frequent speaker at conferences and online events.  He is particularly interested in the Internet of Things, APIs and projects that involve building custom hardware.
